The Ecocentro is an interpretation center about the Patagonian marine ecosystem, on the south coast of Puerto Madryn on the way to Punta Cuevas. It combines interactive rooms, a touch pool, whale exhibits and a tower with views over Golfo Nuevo.
- Recommended time: 1 h 30 min to 2 h.
- A good choice on windy days, when outdoor tours are harder.
- In whale season you can spot whales in the gulf from its windows.
- Great for school groups as a complement to a Valdes Peninsula trip.
Local tip: it is our backup plan: if the Puerto Pirámides port closes due to wind, we switch to Ecocentro + Punta Loma so you do not lose the day.
